Welcome to MIDI Toolbox, an online platform providing MIDI processing tools including Player, Editor, Converter, Score Viewer, Visualizer, Analyzer, and Generator. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.
Description of Service
MIDI Toolbox provides the following tools:
- MIDI Player: Play MIDI files in your browser with real-time visualization
- MIDI Editor: Edit MIDI files with piano roll interface, quantization, and velocity adjustment
- MIDI to MP3/WAV Converter: Convert MIDI files to audio formats with customizable settings
- Score Viewer: View MIDI files as sheet music notation
- Visualizer: Visualize MIDI notes and patterns
- Analyzer: Analyze MIDI file structure, statistics, and properties
- Generator: Generate MIDI files using AI (if available)
All processing is performed locally in your browser using Web Audio API and related technologies. Your files are not uploaded to our servers.
Use of the Service
Acceptable Use
You agree to use MIDI Toolbox in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may use our tools for:
- Personal music production and learning
- Professional music creation and editing
- Educational purposes
- Commercial projects (subject to any licensing requirements of your MIDI content)
Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code

- Website design, layout, and user interface
- Software code, algorithms, and processing engines
- Documentation, tutorials, and guides
- Logos, trademarks, and branding

- Your MIDI files are processed entirely in your browser
- We do not upload, store, or access your files

Service Availability and Modifications
Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

Pricing and Payments
Core tools (Player, Editor, Converter, Score, Visualizer, Analyzer) are free to use.

Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@miditoolbox.com to resolve the issue informally.
Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or violation of confidentiality obligations.
Changes to These Terms
